I have been an active part of the Outdoor Industry since working in retail sales at The Alpine Shop in St. Louis, Missouri, at age 20. Since then I have held positions in Product Development (these included frequent travel throughout Asia), Operations, Sales and Sales Management at the Executive Vice President level. I have successfully started, managed and grown Brand-licensed programs in both footwear, hosiery and accessories.
I am a dynamic sales leader with a proven ability to manage large volume retail programs in the footwear, apparel and accessories sectors, as well as managing multiple Brands in the independent retail channel. I have successfully grown market share for well-established Brands, introduced new Brand categories, and brought entirely new Brands to market in the Outdoor, Hunt/Fish, Department Store, Ski/Snowboard, Specialty Grocery, Sporting Goods and Specialty Apparel channels.
Throughout my career, I have recruited, hired, trained and managed both ‘company’ reps and independent sales agencies to serve these channels. I have demonstrated success in both Branded and private label sales & sales management, and I successfully manage both for my current employer.
